Bad night. Pelosi & Co. will obstruct, impeach, shut down tax cuts, the wall, immigration reform. Everything is at play and eviscerating at risk. The races we won were too close for comfortable. While not the worst case scenario, close to it

Totally disagree. Trump now has someone to blame if anything goes wrong. And we don’t even know if Pelosi. An win the House - 12 RATs have pledged to vote against her. God is sovereign - there’s a reason the House was put in the RATs hands, looking forward to learning why.

I hope Trump uses 2019 to begin hammering the communists including...

1. Firing Sessions & Rosenstein
2. Hire an AG who will clean out the traitors in DOJ/FBI
3. Begin issuing indictments for the attempted communist coup d’etat by Clinton/Mullah hussein44
4. Appropriate $25B from military and build the freakin’ wall
5. Investigate/Clean-out the massive Voter Fraud

Picking up 4 Senate seats and winning the FL and OH governor’s races is hardly worst case. Many of the House seats in suburban districts were barely won by the Dems. We lost two in VA by about 1% that I am sure will revert to Republican control in the next election or two. Trump hurts repubs in these upscale suburban districts. Have to take to good with the bad.

Pelosi can’t do anything about the existing tax cuts. The Dems can and will obstruct and may impeach (would be difficult with a 10 seat majority) but Trump is adept at these types of political battles and I am confident he can outsmart Pelosi. Large Senate majority will make it easy to staff executive branch and judiciary with conservatives.

The incoming Speaker of the House has plenty of video clips all over YouTube that have some pretty clear evidence of dementia. She might not even last in the House until 2020.

This tells you all you need to know about the Democrat Party in the U.S.

No where near as bad as you imagine. They won’t be able to pass a single thing. Trump can pick up Obama’s pen. He will also be able to finish shaping the courts and get another supreme or two. Last but not.least he will have an enemy to run against.

Uhh, you are aware the Republicans control the House until mid January of 2019...right?

We STILL hold majorities in BOTH HOUSES!

In Obama’s first midterm, the Dems lost 63 House seats and 6 Senate seats. GOP emerged with a large advantage in control of state legislatures and 29 Governorships.

This time, the GOP is only going to lose about 28 House seats and will GAIN about 4 Senate seats.

Tax cuts are passed, they can’t shut them down. As for the rest, there are going to be a whole bunch of new Dem reps from swing districts, who ran on moderate rhetoric. Pelosi (or whoever) is going to have to listen to them in conference, especially if their majority is thin. They may very well stifle a lot of the most radical stuff, especially since it won’t pass the senate anyway.

Look at the bright side y’all. The strong showing in the Senate will likely ensure DJT yet another nomination/confirmation for the Supreme Court.

Ginsburg’s 85 years old. Good chance she will be forced to retire within the next two years. So...if you’re gonna lose one of the chambers of government, prolly losing the house at this point would be the one ya’d wanna lose.

Secondly, the Senate gains were valuable in that some of the most liberal Senators were defeated.

Nah, it’s fine. I’d rather have the Senate than the house, given judicial appointments.

Obama did a lot of harm with a solid Republican house and an OK Republican Senate.

Trump will be able to undo a lot from the executive side of things with a strong Senate, especially the judiciary.

The house margin is very thin; the Democrats (generally) got elected because they promised to be Republicans. At least a handful will peal off; they are not as disciplined as the Democrat Senators.

Also, having Maxine Water, Nancy Pelosi, and the like being up front and center will be great foil for Trump to play against. They are evil and stupid.
