Heitkamp endorses state Dems' false claim that ND's hunters could lose licenses if they vote

In the latest gaffe in her bid for re-election, U.S. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., endorsed false claims made in a Facebook ad paid for by her state's Democratic Party that say the state’s hunters could lose their hunting licenses in nearby states if they vote Tuesday.

Heitkamp, who’s trailing Republican challenger Kevin Cramer on average by 11 points, hasn't backpedaled from the endorsement, telling reporters that it is “really important that people understand the consequences of voting.”

She also said the ad is true. “Voting means you are a resident, it means you pay taxes here, it means that if you want a residential hunting license in Minnesota, it means you’re not going to get that, if you vote here,” Heitkamp said.

That’s interesting, protecting North Dakota sovereignty. Native Americans live on their own Sovereign reservations with in North Dakota boundaries; would that include them as well?

What does the law say? Most if not all states allow you to vote only once- as a resident of either one state or the other if you own land in two. Same for summer homes in the same state- you vote in one county school dstrict etc., even if you pay taxes in two; if a person from another state owns land in a second, they likely cannot vote in the state where they own but don’t reside. One person, one vote.

Too bad the left fails to apply the standard to their “people”, live or dead.

Heitkamp endorses state Dems’ false claim.

Someone should write a book about, “How a box of rocks gets elected to Congress”. Certainly are enough examples and this woman fits the bill to a “T”.

Voter Suppression is a great idea when Democrats do it.

Someone should write a book about, “How a box of rocks gets elected to Congress”.

You don't need to write a book about it.

One sentence explains it all.

You sell your soul to the Devil.

it is “really important that people understand the consequences of voting.”

I agree with Heidi. We have seen today's democrats:

- They are Antifa.
- They are #BlackThugsMatter.
- They are funding caravans of illegals and releasing illegals before ICE can get there - at the cost of innocent lives as recently as yesterday.
- They are #BelieveWomen witch hunters who need no proof, just an accusation.
- They are public school teachers and administrators, silencing children who wear patriotic apparel or even threatening them with suspension/expulsion.
- They "care about children" but supported Obama's $10T in additional debt.
- They are "pro-science" but think your sex is a choice that has nothing to do with XX or XY chromosomes, at least not when it comes to who should share a restroom, locker room, or changing room with our children.

No, thank you. I understand the consequences of voting, and thanks to today's deranged democrats, so do more decent people than ever.

I suspect 95% of hunters get resident licenses in only their home address state, and non-resident licenses in any other state.

Rats are again projecting their behavior (cheating) onto others, hunters in this case. They believe everyone lies, cheats and steals like they do (a critical flaw of theirs).

Do I understand this correctly? If you want to falsely claim you’re a resident of another state so as to pay a lower licensing fee, voting where you really live could mess up your plan to thwart the law? Seriously I want to be corrected if I’m wrong,
But is that what’s being said?

I think this “Heidi” libtard might be under-estimating the IQ of the average hunter.

Since when do democrats give a rip about legalities? Check out the yellow school buses stream8ng up to Milwaukee from the south side of Chicago on election day.

I can’t figure it out either. Voting in your state of residency would not affect any non-resident licenses you have in other states, and you can’t get resident licenses in more than one state.

I believe that Democrats trust in the stupidity of a fixed percentage of people in everything they do. You can lie to some of the people all of the time.

In the waning hours of the pending election, both Heidi the heifer and Mother McCaskill are losing it. Love it!

I don’t know about hunting licenses but I do know they won’t sell you condoms anymore if your voting record indicates that you have a tendency to vote for commie lib females.

I just emailed Old McDonald about ND voter suppression.

Lets see if he tweets about that like he keeps tweeting about Georgia voter suppression.

I can give some clarity.

There are large farms with property on both sides of the state line. Many will claim residency in one state for taxes, and another for hunting.

So the article is correct that if a person votes in the ND election, yet claims MN residency, there will be a problem.

Or rather, they were committing fraud and could be found out.

“The consequences of voting”. LOL. How ridiculous, ludicrous and hypocritical. The left yelps at anything they deem might suppress voter turnout and then push crap like this. Yes there are consequences to voting, but this is not one of them and never had been. Last minute fear-mongering and a slight attempt to make her seem “pro-hunter” and “pro-gun rights”. Glad she is behind in the polls and I hope she loses. The Democrats simply do not deserve political power. They are liars and demagogues who don’t even have the courage to openly advocate that which they believe. That makes them scary.
