I failed my first driver’s test.
I had a ‘51 Buick Roadmaster. Dad found it in the paper for $95. The clutch was nearly gone so you really had to feather it to keep if from chattering.
The examiner had me parallel park on a hill between two cars. I was doing great until I tapped the bumper on the car behind me.
She’s recently failed a lie detector test 3 times as well.
I wish I had taken the test in a Morris Minor like my dad owned when I was small. had to take it in a 1959 Ford with three on the tree. Parallel parking in one of those early 50’s behemoths? Forget it.

No kidding! I had to parallel park a big huge 1957 Mercury at a parking meter on a busy downtown street. Passed, though.

Passed with near 100 % my first time about a year ago. It’s called having a functional brain.

I was an "early" bloomer... Got my license when I was 12... Had been driving since I was 10 and had no problems with the very tricky driving tests during WWII..
I'm 85 and have never taken another one in the past 73-years of driving... Eye tests for old people...
