are anachronisms. Expensive ones too.

Beyond a minimum population density, the energy and costs required to sustain them starts to increase exponentially.

they started to decay organically in the 1960’s-and since have been sustained on “debt-life support”

they now exist, especially the “mega-metropolises” primarily as reservoirs of public union corruption, voter fraud, and behavior and activity control

the muni-bond markets tell all for the last 50 years
