Clean living, I guess.

The first King of Saudi Arabia was King Ibn Saud, who was born in 1875 and established the kingdom by conquest in 1932. The Saud family was prominent before then, but didn’t control basically the whole Arabian peninsula until the 1930s.

King Ibn Saud died in 1953. Since then, Saudi Arabia has had 6 difference kings, all of whom have been sons of Ibn Saud. There were many more brothers, but only 6 have taken a turn on the throne, and evidently only one son of the founder is still living, beside the current monarch.

The Crown Prince would be the first King of Saudi Arabia that was not son of the founder.

I’m betting he won’t be around much longer. Especially if he’s telegraphing like this. I’m wondering if his mouth is writing checks, his ass can’t cash.

Clean living and excellent healthcare. In the hallways of the world famous hospital from which I recently retired was a never ending parade of various members of Saudi royalty headed for their private floor in the hospital.Several of the Residents assigned to babysit them told me stories...that I can't repeat.
