Since the last midterm elections in 2014, the ranks of Democratic registered voters in Beaver County have shrunk by nearly 6,000, while the number of Republican voters grew by about the same amount.
According to data compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of State, which oversees elections in the state, there were 55,553 registered Democrats and 41,129 registered Republicans in the county as of Monday.
To put that in perspective, four years ago Democrats outnumbered Republicans 61,219 to 35,869, meaning the GOP has nearly cut its voter registration disadvantage in half.
“I’m not surprised by those numbers,” said state Rep. Jim Christiana, R-15, Brighton Township, who is also the new chairman of the Republican Committee of Beaver County. “While some in our party could celebrate those numbers, I’m not ready to celebrate just yet. I don’t think those numbers are shifting fast enough.”

The numbers should be MUCH higher for republicans.
The democrats still outnumber them.
When Col. Albert J. Amatuzio was asked, when he was in his 90s wasn't he happy with the growth of Amsoil to as big as it was then, he responded, no way.
He was disheartened that more people weren't using it, with the great performance improvements it makes.

This does not matter in the face of new gerrymandered congressional districts. My GOP congressman will be losing his seat
Back in the day Conservative Democrats that voted for Reagan were called “Reagan Democrats”.
Then they have realized how far left the Dems have moved, and after being demonized by the party, they became “Trump Democrats”.
And now, after realizing that they truly are “Deplorable” to the Dem party, they are registering as Republicans.
