There is no good reason. If someone voted for Trump, and now decides to vote for Abbot and Beto, they are an idiot and shouldn’t be voting. Texas is a big state, so lot’s of idiots apparently.
Texas seems to be a “hot” destination for emigrants from California.
Abbott is conservative/Republican
A lot of Dems voted for Gregg Abbot, because he is a great governor and his wife, Cecelia, and their family are wonderful people.
Cecilia is the only first lady of Texas (since statehood) that is Latin American.
