O’Rourke has raised over $60,000,000 from California while no one is donating “Lupe.”
Well then Ted Cruz is doing quite a favor for the rest of the Republican senate and congressional candidates by diverting donations away from lots of other more winnable races.
Yep. They made a conscious decision to challenge Cruz, while offering a sacrificial lamb against Abbott.
Assuming his lead holds, Mr. Cruz should make a point of thanking California's Democrat donors for their contributions to Texas' economy in his victory speech.

I have not seen one single campaign sign nor bumper sticker for Lupe Valdez. I’ve not heard any radio ads, either. I haven’t seen Abbott signs, either, but I do hear ads for him on the radio.
There has never been any doubt in my mind that I’d vote for Ted Cruz. Do I like him? I don’t know. I haven’t given it any thought. It’s not important. Even if I thought “Beto” was the coolest, cutest, most handsome thing out there- which I don’t- no way would I ever vote for him.
