I hope so. I wish the regional commander was other than a USAF general whose background on ground ops is academic. I have heard USAF O-6’s who went to either Carlyle or G&GS remark that there were definitely different personality types among combat arms officers and the USAF office corps. While in any big war the USAF kills a disproportionate number of the enemy the fact that some Army combat arms officers seem to relish tactical operations strikes AF types as disconcerting.
