Kerrygold is good for spreading on a piece of toast, not so good for baking. King Arthur Flour did a nice article on the different types of butter and what they are best suited for here

I buy what I think is a regional brand in the Northwest - Darigold. I am not aware of Darigold ever becoming involved in politics, at least publicly, and their products are good.
Most Iowa farming is in a state of treason anyway because they love illegal alien labor.
