That's all irrelevant now. Whatever noble service he rendered in the past, has been far overshadowed by his deep failings in his current post.
As for Trump's agenda, it was mapped out years before Sessions came on as a supporter. It's in his books.
Sessions & Miller wrote Trump’s immigration policy. Recusing himself re. Russia was not a shining moment, obviously. But Mueller has nothing on Trump, and when that is finally revealed, the dems/MSM won’t be able to scream that Sessions protected Trump.
Regardless, you won’t find a stronger opponent of illegal immigration in the cabinet. Sessions was a bulwark against the GOP’s Bushian house & senate amnesty plans for decades.
Sessions has done a crapload of good work as AG, despite the recusal.
