There’s a certain twisted logic to it if you consider the party’s two power families. Hillary just really wants it. Michelle could waltz into power with just two months of campaigning behind a fetid corpse at the top of the ticket — or establish herself as the unquestioned next in line, should the corpse manage to lose yet again.
Blacks, women, gays/lesbians and trannies arguably could all have someone to vote for as “identity” candidates.
Leftist logic is always twisted as you mentioned....but your right as nothing they do is what it seems to be because it’s all about favors and payouts and power plays ..still..for Hillary Clinton and her like.
I still think that Obama still holds a secret grudge against the Clintons, esp about the remark that Bill Clinton said against him when he said "some time ago, a guy like him would be serving me coffee!"
