Campbell Soup VP who tweeted Soros conspiracy is out
CNN ^ | October 28, 2018 | Danielle Wiener-Bronner

The Campbell Soup lobbyist who said George Soros' foundation was assisting a caravan of migrants bound for the United States is no longer with the company.

Kelly Johnston, formerly Campbell's vice president of government affairs, tweeted on Monday that the Open Society Foundations arranged for "troop carriers" and "rail cars" to support the caravan, which formed earlier this month in Central America. Johnston has since deleted his Twitter account.

Campbell and Johnston had discussed his leaving over the summer, the company said on Saturday. Johnston was scheduled to leave in November, but the tweet sped up his exit.

"In the last few days, the company and Mr. Johnston have agreed that under the current circumstances it would be best to accelerate the timing of his departure," a company spokesperson told CNN Business. Thursday was his last day.

“Progress makes some decent soups.!”

Progresso makes some very decent soups.

Progresso soups are what we use if my wife is not able whip up a home made one.

We went to them after the 2 Daddie bs.

Note to Campbell Soup’s board: You’d better pray that Trump doesn’t release any intel confirming what your erstwhile veep tweeted....

Wonder if they paid the guy to go away, cuz if they didn’t and depending on how the guy’s employment contract was written, Campbell could be looking at one mother of a lawsuit....

See? They’re coming for EVERYONE who expresses a dissenting opinion.

We cannot afford to give any quarter to aggressive Communists any longer.

It’s time to go Based Lindsey Graham on them and aggressively slap down every imposition, without hesitation.

Note to future employees of Fortune 500 companies: Have a very good lawyer look over your employment contract before signing it.

Same thing, kind of?... Venison or wild pork is good with it too...

Arrow Pilot’s Famous TACO SOUP

INGREDIENTS:
2 LBS LEAN GROUND BEEF
1 FRESH WHITE ONION
1 CAN DICED ROTEL
2 CANS DICED TOMATOS
1 CAN WHOLE KERNEL CORN (Drained)
2 CANS PINTO BEANS
1 CAN RANCH STYLE BEANS WITH JALAPENOS
1 PKG TACO SEASONING
1 PKG RANCH DRESSING MIX
1 “CLUMP” FRESH CILANTRO (OPTIONAL)
DIRECTIONS:
Chop the onion.
If you’ll be using cilantro, chop it very finely.
Brown the ground beef with the diced onion in a large soup pot.
Stir in the taco seasoning and the ranch dressing mix until the meat is evenly coated.
Pour in all the canned items, continuing to stir and heat.
If you’re using cilantro, put that in last after all the canned items.
Heat the soup until hot. If you have the time, simmering makes it better.
Variations and Serving Suggestions:

For those who like it spicier, you can “turn up the heat” by substituting more Diced Rotel for one or both cans of the Diced Tomatos, substituting more Ranch Style Beans with Jalapenos for one or both cans of the Pinto Beans, and/or substituting HOT Taco Seasoning for the regular kind.

I like a thick soup and so I drain the water off the corn and leave the lid off the pot to let some of the water evaporate during heating. If you like a thinner soup, you don’t have to drain the corn and you can keep the lid on the pot. For my tastes, the leaner the ground beef, the better. If you use ground beef that is not lean, you’ll probably want to drain off the grease after you brown it and before you add the other ingredients. For a wild game version, you can use ground venison or ground wild pork instead of the lean ground beef.

The soup is good poured over Fritos corn chips or crumbled tortilla chips. Try sprinkling grated cheese over the top and letting it melt in with the soup.

This makes, I’d say, about eight good servings. The original recipe didn’t include cilantro, but I found that it really adds flavor and highly recommend it! The soup is actually quite a bit better when reheated the second day. So make a big pot and enjoy the leftovers!

Kroger is having a great special on Progresso soups. 8 cans for $8. So sick of Marxists amd their tactics.

They try to silence people because they have to.

Their ideas can't hold up in debate and their policies end in disaster and misery for people foolish enough to try them.

It IS $0ros’ Open $ociety who’s funding all of this.

And, now...after the fakebombs, they’re claiming anyone who tells the truth about this....is antisemetic.

Yet....it was $0rass who turned in Jews in hiding, to the Na$is.

What does that have to do with the dire importance of this thread’s topic?

Conservatives and TRUTH tellers are being targeted, by the left, by the minute. Lets stay focused on the important and pressing issues at hand, please.

I’m sensing a trend- criticism of Soros now equates to being anti-Semitic. Good luck with that

Hey, I gotta make chili in a couple of weeks for a small Bible study.

Right now I’m planning on:

2-2.5lbs hamburger
white and yellow onion (need a yellow)
Multiple types of beans (canned from the prepper rotation)
(chili beans mostly, some Great Northern beans a can or two, seasoned black beans)
No peppers per se because one person is allergic
However, have tomatoes with chilis (1 can I think)
Crushed tomatoes in sauce
(I’m toying with adding some tomato juice from breakfast)
Maybe a can or 2 of red beans
Chili seasoning
A bit of chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, maybe a couple garlic cloves
Red wine vinegar (need more)
Hot sauce, plus a little taco sauce and maybe picante
A bit of salt, pepper, paprika, lemon pepper

As you can see - almost the kitchen sink, too.

They liked my red beans and rice - Spam was the meat, diced up (well red beans and rice +++ lol). I used some cornbread mix with an extra egg or two (about 4 boxes).

I’m looking forward to cooking all that.

I don’t remember when Penney’s tried their little experiment with the poofter-in-charge (gone but too late).

[ I have a whole cupboard full of Progresso soups, for emergencies. ]

Moi, aussi.

I admit I dO have a few Campbell’s because of good sales (I almost ONLY buy sales and good sales, at that). I’ve even got a few WM that were cheap. Progresso was 99 cents recently. I grabbed 12 total on a couple of trips. They’ll let you buy over the minimums if you do separate transactions.

Progresso Lentil (a couple of versions) is a favorite of mine. I like to add diced cooked potatoes.

Exactly! We eat a lot of wild game (Bear, Venison, Elk, Fish, Wild hog) so I am always looking for ways to use it. You can usually substitute ‘ground any red meat’ in place of beef.

Still? Anything marinated and grilled is pretty much our favorite!

If you’re not familiar with the ‘Monastery Cookbooks’ check them out. Many wonderful soup recipes with simple, fresh ingredients.

My favorite is Saint Basil Soup. It contains no Basil; Herb or Friar, LOL! :)
