Does this stupid MOFU not understand that CRIMINALS DO NOT OBEY LAWS?
We have a law against murder - gee that worked out well for the 11 now deceased souls.
We have gun laws out the wazoo - did not stop this nut job from going on his killing spree.
NYC and Chicago have the toughest gun control laws on the books - and the highest per-capita murder rates - by firearms.
Some people, like this mayor, are just to fkg stupid to have even a modicum of authority over anything.

Actually, armed guards do work. Where I live, churches above a certain size are apparently required to hire off-duty sheriffs for security.
Where I lived before, they hired armed security, and the pastor encouraged cops in the membership to carry during worship.
There have been at least a couple of attacks stopped by armed security. Who knows how many have been deterred by the known presence of armed security. And there have been several attacks on churches, and now a synagogue, when attackers guessed correctly there would be no security.
