... Dems increasing shift from a progressive, liberal philosophy and policy to radical, far-left, socialist activism

Physician, heal thyself. Progressivism is a radical, far-left social activist philosphy. It always has been. Go read its roots, which are informed by the radical left from Europe. It is anti-individual.

And it has nothing to do with classic liberalism, a label the progs stole and applied to themselves to make themselves seem palatable - leftists in the cloak of individual liberty - a concept which the progs despise, cf. Antifa, Maxine.

Interesting article. Glad I read it. Some good tidbits buried in the body of which I was unaware. A strong indication that the Ford letter was not written by her which, if true, was probably why it wasn’t shared with Grassley. Also, who is likely funding the caravan.

The author may have missed the boat, though, on Menendez. Maybe the would-be pipe bomber would have influenced the vote for the US Senate seat in NJ, but it’s likely that the synagogue massacre will supersede that.

We live in interesting times...

I’m hoping BLEXIT energizes, grows and there’s a (unnoticed by MSM) black wave.

I know Lou Manzo... I worked on few of his campaigns.... he’s wrong about one thing... the Democrat Party was never “once great”.

I agree his assessment of the elections outcome but not the reason why. He makes is it sound like the Dems are losing this election. He's wrong; the Republican Party isn't just the un-Democrat party as he portrays it. To the contrary, the Republicans are WINNING!

The Republican Party brand is vastly improved since 2015, the globalists, corporatist free trader party is almost dead! People are voting for nationslism. What the Demoncats do or don't do is now irrelevant to vast swaths of he electorate. The MSM has become powerless to stop this.

"The only thing that can screw this up is the radical elements of the Dem party stealing the stage from the failed mad bomber news story."

And lo and behold, that is exactly what happens.

They’re just moving along the intended Fabian spectrum, if you will. They’ve won so much that the next steps are necessarily more bold and extreme.

Their missteps include pushing a boldness of tactics just a bit ahead of themselves.

He goes on an on but ends up forecasting no change.

He omitted the Kanye abandonment of the plantation effect. Those leaving the plantation aand those just not voting will will signifinantly effect many races.

Turnout is the major factor

It’s “aided and abetted” not “aided and abated”. Otherwise, good article.

“for the very same reason that the sleaze attack against Kavanaugh backfired on the Dems, the sleaze dished out against incumbent Senator Robert Menendez will likewise backfire”

Except that there is abundant evidence that Menendez is a bona fide sleaze. That may make a difference.

Democrat Party moving from left to radical LEFT was shown just a couple of weeks ago when Mark Salvas, the former executive director of the Allegheny County (PA) Democratic Party and Gulf War USMC veteran, was forced to resign his position after posting “I stand for the flag, I kneel at the cross.” on social media. WOW!

opinion that the Dems increasing shift from a progressive, liberal philosophy and policy to radical, far-left, socialist activism is continuing to destroy this once great party

“The Dems and media hate Trump so much, that when he takes a position that an overwhelming number of Americans will support, their kneejerk reaction is just to oppose and attack him. They collude among themselves to label the President a “fear monger.” This strategy, like the Kavanaugh strategy, will also go down in flames.”

This just shows how incredibly stupid they are. How people could even vote for them even if they agreed with them, I don’t know.

Per one of the commenters:

I think the radical faction in the Democrat Party wants the party to lose this election so they can blame the loss on the old guard (Pelosi, Schumer, Feinstein), remove them and take over the Party.

Not a bad theory. This explains Beto's Quixotic quest to turn Texas blue (or "red" if you're Alexandria Cortez del Rio El Monte Gonzalez)
