I understand but I do mean what I say. It’s not really ok for some of the dark humor we - including myself- engage in here. If all of it together has the effect of dulling the simple minds to violence against their opponents, we need to rethink subtle intelligent humor. At least we aren’t dumb and obvious and as unoriginal as a Robert De Niro, but if people feel that their political opponents are less than human, we all lose as humans.
