Some friends of mine were Pittsburgh teachers. Wonderful friends, but horribly leftist. The school enrollment keeps decreasing, especially the white enrollment.
After today, they may change their minds.
It’s their prerogative, but it’s also documented evidence of intentional, criminal negligence should there ever be a school shooting in their district. This makes them accessories to any murder of any of their students.

What school-shooting event is he referring to?
Most of the ones of the past several years have demonstrated just the opposite... Their basic strategy has been to hide/cower outside the school until the shooting stops and then mug for the TV cameras...
The way to solve the problem is simple.
No cops in schools
No calls answered that requires a cop presence on school grounds.
Direct traffic in the street when a sporting event requires that, but nothing more.
Let the school solve their own problems. After all, they are smarter than the cops so they should have no problems the can not handle.
Maybe they see school shootings as post partum abortion. Being liberals abortion is always correct.
They do not give a damn about the safety of the students, Their main concern is that they have the last say in the debate. It does not matter to them that the school saftey patrol could save the life of some students. They must be right about no guns in school area. Shows who they are when election time comes.
So; can they arm THEMSELVES?
