But she did have insightful critiques of the RC Church. Specifically, that they interposed themselves, priests, bishops, Popes, between us and the Holy Spirit.

OTOH, she also mingled this truth with falsehood, e.g. that God does not judge us or our actions.

This is the problem when you don't have good teachers to guide you in your walk. You have falsehoods and truth mixed together, and you're not able to discern which is which.

In 2000, she famously came out as a lesbian after also announcing to the world that she had been ordained as a Catholic priest. The singer has also been married to a number of men throughout the course of her lifetime.

Two-thirds, or more, of the male converts to Islam wind up leaving within 2 years. But it's much harder to make an exit when you're married and have children with men who are very wedded to a very patriarchal, not so peaceful religion.
