You gotta look beyond elections. They are demonstrably insufficient to secure liberty. A fundamental start to its restoration is to make senators’ interest coincident with those of the nation, and repeal of the 17A will not be introduced by congress.
Keep the republic? Be rid of the 17A before the rats democratize Presidential elections too.

The problem is, as I understand it, is it is not clear if a ConCon can only address one amendment or as many as it wants to address.

There is no limit on the number of amendments that a Convention of the States may send to Congress for disposition.
