hey folks - think for a minute. Where will those thousands of troops stay????? Makes perfect sense to set up the logistical base for those soldiers ahead of the actual deployment.
You make a good point and I hope that is the case.
To start with, Biggs field adjacent to Ft Bliss in El Paso. There are others as well; all close to the border.
And if the smaller number acts as a deterrent, even better. We’re not dealing with an A-team army. And if more troops are needed, they’re available.
