The American People might want this, and they might not. They don’t want them here. No qualms about that.
Watching women and children get injured or killed 5 days before the midterms? Nobody wants that, or nobody should want that.
This is going to end up being Mexico’s problem.
What we need are spanish fluent civil affairs types getting statements disqualifying each person from consideration for asylum.

I'm not advocating that we kill or injure anyone. We have the means and technology to repel these people without hurting them.
The cynic in me says that none of those means or technology will be used.

I trust there is a plan. I doubt the President has ever drawn a stupid breath, and he’s got good people in place.
Gonna have to trust to that, because even non-lethal means are going to look horrible.
The solution is repatriation. No matter what, its going to be expensive, but less so than immigration.
That’s their plan, by the way: Send them, and they’ll have to take them.
Good news: The wall’s getting built as a result. I don’t think there is any question of that.

I hope you're right, but the invaders and their enablers have been winning for decades now. Its almost too much for me to hope that they'll finally be turned back.

You’re right. And, honestly it makes me question our military budget. If we can’t perform pretty basic operations to protect our border, why should we pay buttloads of money to defense contractors just so we can parade sophisticated vehicles and weapons in front of countries on the other side of the world?
I get that a powerful military is a deterrent. But, if we won’t send a few dozen people to stop an invading horde non-lethally, who’s going to respect our $35billion fighter. As far as I’m concerned we don’t need a military if they can’t stop these invaders before they reach the border.
If it were 800 troops with flame throwers I
would have more confidence.

I could understand the outrage if they had been accompanied by adults. Then no that looks like a welcome wagon for adults. I get that. But these kids were abandoned.

The uniparty doesn’t want a wall and we don’t elect a king. I’m a big supporter of POTUS but it’s hard to see him winning on this one.
