As part of their plan to overthrow the U.S. government, the Weather Underground created weapons caches and bomb factories. An accidental explosion in one factory killed several WUO members.

Hetch Hetchy reservoir power system was a target ~50 years ago of the Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, Obama`s friend. They blew up PG&E substation transformers at Hegenberger Rd., Oakland, CA near my place of work. Sharpnel from the explosion whizzed just over our heads thru the metal quonset hut building where we were working. Luckily we were protected by sheets of steel lining the rows of shelves.
