Good, if DiFi won't make good on her agreements with Chairman Grassley this makes it a more civil committee process not having to listen to Democrats whining and asking 'gotcha' questions of the nominees.

So, vote and pass along all pending nominees. Republicans have the majority, use it!

I believe they need at least a few rats to hold a hearing.

After the eight long years of the Kenyanesian Usurper appointing far left ideologues the current appointments are balance.

Yes, these are hearings for nominees to go before the committee, the votes will be later.

I suspect that after the election, regardless if we hold the Senate or not, the pace of judicial appointments will hit warp speed. Blue slips and boycotts be damned.

There is an easy fix. McConnell should declare the Senate in recess until the Dems show up to do their jobs. Trump can make recess appointments at will.

CA Senators refuse to return blue slips. Do it without them.

These Committee members who boycott these hearings should be punished accordingly, like lose their ability to be readmitted to that hearing, and lose their vote once that particular hearing is finally convened, or have their salary garnisheed, for failing to do the job they took an oath of office to perform. These boycotts are no different than the NFL players who have decided to protest the flag/anthem while on the time clock. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it.

I think that I read somewhere that there has to be at least one Rat there, but Grassley can send the capitol police to get one if none of them show up.

These are life-time appointments.
A recess appointment is only good until the end of the current congress.
The Republicans have the majority. They need to use it and have the judges seated permanently.

I think McConnell already gave up that tradition.
