Agreed, but I’d say understandable, given that you are counting a moving group of people, with some joining in and others dropping out, and considering the logistics in a Third World country, and also taking into account that depending on their politics, people have an interest in exaggerating or understating the size of the group.
Not to mention at any given time some are walking and some are in buses and other transportation. They are also strung out in groups, some of those early groups have already been arriving here for the last few weeks up to 2 months that I know about. Groups of around or plus 100 from Central America have been being gathered up all along the border.
