FULL TITLE: Exclusive — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy: ‘No Longer Just Republicans Versus Democrats; It’s America Versus Socialism’
As the Democrats drift further leftward into openly embracing socialism, House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) warns the political battle ahead of the midterm elections just two weeks from now is no longer a traditional partisan battle. Instead it is one where the country must confront and reject extreme ideas from the left. “The debate today is different than the one we had before with Republicans versus Democrats on the size of what government can be,” McCarthy said in an exclusive interview on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel on Tuesday. “You hit the nail on the head: It’s no longer Republicans versus the Democrats, it’s America versus socialism. The movement in this Democratic Party toward clear socialism, that’s what they’re doing on healthcare–government-run, it’s all government telling you what to do and when to do it instead of unshackling and unleashing the great powers of liberty and freedom.”
With the latest caravan of thousands of prospective illegal aliens streaming from Central America through Mexico to the U.S. border right now, McCarthy said people in the United States “should be upset because in Congress we had put a bill on the floor for immigration reform that would deal with this and end catch-and-release and not one Democrat voted for it.”
McCarthy, as Breitbart News has previously exclusively reported, has put forward legislation that would fully fund President Donald Trump’s planned border wall along the U.S. border with Mexico.

The Goodlatte bill got over 190 votes and might have made it if ryan and McCarthy had whipped another 20 rinos into voting for it.
The ryan/ establishment bill was a joke. ryan won’t give a dime for the wall in budget bills.
Mccarthy is ryan’s stooge. I’ve heard ryan is staying on, only because McCarthy doesn’t have the votes to become speaker.
He coincidentally “woke” and declared himself a Trump guy right before he put in his name for next Speaker of the House. It’s a Halloween miracle!

Ironically I heard a commercial about him on talk radio today. It said “support Keven McCarthy’s Build the Wall bill so Congress can fully fund Trump’s Wall.” It was paid for by some Tea Party PAC, which was also an odd thing to hear, tied to him. He is either getting on board the Trump train, or he’s saying and doing the right thing to get that speakership, then he’ll make up some excuse why it just isn’t the right time to build a wall.
I’m going with the latter.

I don’t know what state you live in, but here in Maine that same pro-McCarthy “Build the Wall” commercial was running yesterday nonstop on the FM Talk Radio Station here in Maine that carries Rush’s show, amongst others.
This guy is ever so slightly better than Paul Ryan. Not good enough.
I’m in Missouri. Hearing Kevin McCarthy’s name here really stood out. Hearing him say he wanted to build the wall was the real shocker haha.
McCarthy has been sounding like a staunch conservative lately.
Obviously, he’s angling to become the next Speaker of the House once Paul Rino is gone next January (assuming the Republicans keep the House, which I believe they will).
Personally, I would rather have a Freedom Caucus guy.
