Call it a highly biased opinion hit piece disguised as a news report in the October 19 Kansas City Star. In fact, your humble correspondent had to check the home page of that periodical to make sure it wasn't listed as "Opinion" but, no, it was listed under their "Latest News" section.
I am referring to the article (really opinion hit piece) about the October 18 Senate debate in Missouri between incumbent Claire McCaskill and challenger Josh Hawley written by a reporter with a looooong history of over-the-top liberal bias, Melinda Henneberger. Her blatant bias becomes all too evident by the second paragraph of her article/OPINION, "If getting under McCaskills skin was Hawleys goal, then he won St. Louis debate."

If: City newspaper.
Then: Biased opinion.
After all, we aren’t talkin’ the cream O’the crop when we’re talkin’ journalism majors.
Just figure that the media will not support any Republican this year. My local newspaper is endorsing all the Dems this year, including those who profess to be socialists.
They aren’t going to reform themselves unless and until it becomes apparent that their interference in the elections isn’t working.
Hawley should have put this race away a long time ago. He may well still win but it’ll be closer than it should have been.
I saw a print version of the Kansas City Star a few days ago, it was barely large enough to cover a single bird cage. Once upon a time, the daily paper was sufficient for an entire pet store. How it manages to hold on is beyond me.
Claire will carry Kansas City and St. Louis, along with the home of the University of Missouri, Columbia. Hawley will carry the rest and he will win the race. Her luck and her evil schemes have run out. Time for her to go.
The Falling Star. Cant wait to dance on its grave.
It has been a liberal rag my entire life.
Not sure Claire will carry Kansas City. I have many friends that are Union Members in KC and they tell me many of their fellow Union Members are voting straight R tickets. This is going to be very interesting time no doubt.
I liked the bit about the woman who was offended by Hawley’s comment about how “McCaskill can put as much lipstick (on her ObamaCare vote) as she wants. “Lipstick” triggered her as a woman as being anti-woman as opposed to being anti-pig I guess.
