The increase is 14 percent compared to 2014, the last midterm election, Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Director Pat McDonald said.

And increases are coming from Republicans and unaffiliated voters.

The numbers counted are from the first day of early voting, which this year was Oct. 10, through Friday, which 18 days before the election.

High volume Cuyahoga County voting makes me suspect fraud is afoot along the banks of the burning river.

While the number of Democrats in highly Democratic Cuyahoga County are down, the numbers of unaffiliated voters and Republicans are up.

Republicans appear to be energized after the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation battle to the U.S. Supreme Court.

It's unclear whether the unaffiliated voters are joining the "blue wave" that many people have predicted will occur in response to President Donald Trump, or if they're voting mostly Republican - or a combination of both.

Rat county in OH - Cleveland! Interestingly, heavy turnout is from Republicans and Independents.

Not what we think about with a Blue Wave election.

it’s cuyahoga county. it almost doesn’t matter what happens until they manufacture the last 20,000 votes after all the normal votes are counted.

I don’t how the election here in Florida is going to turn out, but if today is an indication, it’s going to be a massive turnout, my precinct at the Mandarin Library had 20-30 people lined up before the polls opened and when we came back about 1 hour later the line was out of the door and it stayed that way for the entire time we were there.....approximately 20-30 minutes waiting in line and the parking lot was completely full...

Well why not 100,000? 45 million?

How do the Dems ever lose an election then?

110% (you figure that out) of the registered voters voted ALL Dummycrats in Obambi's last election. That's 110%

Of course there's rampant voter fraud all over Cuyahoga county, and NO ONE'S stopping it.

“And increases are coming from Republicans and unaffiliated voters.” Well, that’s good—I think!

When I worked on Trump Campaign in Clermont Cty OH we were told the #s we had to hit to offset Cuyahoga Cty a Dem stronghold. Obama won OH in 2014 by only winning 3 Cty - Cuyahoga (Cleveland), Hamilton (Cincy) & Franklin (Columbus). So any improvement in Cuyahoga is a big deal

Well, it feeds into the Great Swamp Eerie. And from there sloshes past the lands of oversized football fields and cheese-eating frogs all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

After all that it might find its way to the DC Swamp.

Trump has worked wonders in Ohio, the economy and job opportunities are booming. Our feckless governor just can’t stop bashing Trump, despite the success.

I think Brown may be in big trouble in Ohio. I’m thinking the election is going to be a massive red wave.

We hold the house.

The senate grows to 57 Republicans.

Obamacare gone and the wall is built!!

No problem.....however, in my area of Florida, Republicans usually run unopposed.......heck even McCain won this area by a wide margin.....so we’ll see.
