This may mean Rep. Bost is in trouble, but the contest is considered winnable. Murphysboro is right next to (larger) Carbondale, and Southern Illinois University, which is sort of the main liberal outpost in Southern Illinois, so this likely sets up some protests and such.

Note that WPSD has not updated the date of their own updated article, but this evening they broadcast an interview with the Jackson County, IL, Republican Party Chairman confirming the rally scheduling. According to WPSD, the rally will be held at Southern Illinois Airport: The doors open at 1:30 pm, and the rally will be at 4:30 pm.

The Election Fraud deniers are out in force after President Trump threatened Election Fraudsters with severe penalties.

President Trump should bring up in his next speech the Heritage Election Fraud Database saying something like "The Left want to pretend there is no election fraud but we can all go to the Heritage Election Fraud database and see that many people have been convicted - and many more will be this election.

He should also bring up that Election Fraud ring they just caught in Texas and specifically say "we will find double voters."

When they deny I say throw the facts right back in their face.

Great news! I live a half hour away! I missed his rally in Evansville. IN, 90 minutes away and the Cape Girardeau, MO one, 60 minutes away was cancelled. He sure has been in my area a lot of late!

Carbondale is right there but this is country where people still fly the confederate flag - in Illinois! The people around there are very rural; one hates to say hillbilly when it's your own people but... 🤷‍♂️ There are lots of coal miners. There is farming, but the land isn't so good like in Central Illinois, too hilly and rocky, plus the strip mining has messed parts of it up. I went to school in Carbondale back in the 70s. My family is from around there. I visit the area a couple of times a year, so I've seen both sides. I'm surprised the rally won't be in Carbondale. I wouldn't think Murphysboro would have any convention centers or places to congregate. There are only 7900 people in the town.
