McAllen, TX would be their closest entry point. Better than a decade ago, I was on FR talking about a woman who was bragging she’d had over 400 crossings into TX at McAllen. The McAllen station is a joke.
No, Abbott hasn’t sent any TX guard to the border. There had been a handful during the summer but they were doing paperwork only.
