Correct. Genitalia actually does not always indicate the sex (use of the word gender is incorrect) of a person. It is the xxx and xy chromosomes that tell the truth, and no surgeon’s knife can change that.

It is the xxx and xy chromosomes that tell the truth, and no surgeon’s knife can change that.

SO.... are there only two 'combinations' in the 23rd chromosome ?
