The President should order militarization along our southern border anyway. Long overdue. IMO, this should have happened the moment Congress refused to fund the wall. it would have forestalled the stupid staged scenes of kids “separated at the border” from their (not) parents.
Order the troops there anyway, sir. No harm, no foul. This is what voters want. It’s why we elected you. It’s the single-biggest issue the GOP can win on in November (although we have legion issues on which we will win).
