Ditto. I know you can’t sue somebody for libel if you’re a public figure - but, damn, this is accusing someone of being complicit in murder!

Actually, you can. The bar is higher but if Castro can’t source what he said, that’s actual malice and Trump could probably sue. Besides. I’m not so sure the kids are considered “public figures”.

I think a public figure can sue if he can prove malicious intent, but, given that Castro is on the House intel committee, all he has to do is refuse to answer questions because what he knows is “classified.”
