mexico’s President can issue that and no doubt using this mass of people now as leverage ( Like Erdogan has with the refugees)....he’s already got the UN involved to send $$$$ for potential camps should he refuse to let them pass.
Therefore the decision for the majority will be if or not they’ll be willing to stay in refugee camps for whatever duration as refugees or take buses to return home. Either way it’s still a win for the invaders as they see it because those who are returning said they will try this again.

Could also have ships manuever and form a perimeter along adjacent coast. And whatever high tech boats / amphibious craft we might be able to launch in the Rio Grande.
I also think we should NOT use depleted uranium along border. Too controversial. But we could spread rumors that we are.

The wall is irrelevant and would be useless even if in place
the horde will come to the border, claim refugee staatus and be admitted. Once in, they will be given a court appearance date and released. Once relesed, they will never be seen again.
There was no encounter with a wall. There is no stopping the entry of refugees once they reach the border. The horde must be stopped well down within Mexico
That’s what I say too, and since Mexico doesn’t seem to care who comes into their country we should march our military down the middle of that corrupt country and stop this horse caca well before it ever gets close to our country.
By placing American troops on the Mexican side of the border, there is no expectation that the abrogated sovereignty can be reclaimed.

That seems practical to me. Walls of fire that are impossible to get near. Have narrow pathways to process them [or tame them] piecemeal.
Our vets need the practice anyway, so lets give them new gun ranges. And warn people away from them.
