Awhile back I was at a colleague’s house for a dinner party. She’s a liberal, and someone unwisely mentioned Trump. Our host got out of her chair and started pacing the room, ranting and waving her hands all the while. It was a sight to behold, and not a pleasant one.

I’m old enough to remember the Nixon haters and the Reagan haters. And I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s not even close. The liberals who hated Nixon - or Reagan - mostly compartmentalized. They didn’t wish pain on every Republican leader, or on every Republican voter.
But now it’s different. EVERY conservative is a monster. If those liberals were born that way, it’s today’s media that has set them off.
