The parody, Sword Art Online Abridged, had an NPC named “Gary”. All he could say was “We must save my family!” However, his settings were not carefully made, so when the players with him entered a trap room, Gary immediately went over and set off the trap, literally killing some humans for real.

Here is a short version showing Kirito exacting his revenge on Gary. (Not that it mattered, because as soon as you kill an NPC, another duplicate one spawns, is created, likely with a liberal arts or fine arts degree in Social Justice.)
