Trump’s threats to cut aid from Honduras is ‘not going to work,’ says Dem
The Hill ^ | 10 17 2018 | Tess Bonn

Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-N.Y.) criticized President Trump’s threats on Wednesday to cut off aid to Honduras over an immigrant caravan.

Espaillat said that taking such an action “is not going to work” because it signifies a much larger, global issue.

President Trump warned if Honduras' government didn’t stop a caravan of migrants headed to the U.S., the Trump administration would withhold funding to the country, “effective immediately.”

“That’s not going to work,” Espaillat told Hill.TV co-hosts Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton.

“Guatemalans migrate to Mexico, Mexicans migrate to the United States, Africans migrate to Spain and Italy, Libyans migrate to Italy, Middle Easterners migrate to Germany and Britain, so this is a global issue of the have and have nots,” he continued.

The congressman argues the Trump administration “can’t stop the human rights situation and natural disasters.”

“They will flee that nation and try to secure their lives or do better for their families,” he said.

What’s worse, Espaillat argues, is that the U.S. has “abandoned” Latin America and the Caribbean, which has created a “a vacuum of leadership.” Other countries like China have stepped up to help fill that void where the U.S. is lacking in leadership.

“Even countries like China are now seeking to fill that gap and play a pivotal role in helping some of these nations out and having a proactive and production relationship with those nations,” the congressman told Hill.TV.

Espaillat said the only way to address the global issue is legislation that addresses the root causes of immigration.

“What’s going to work is that we go right there on the ground and we have legislation that reexamines the root causes of that migration from Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Guatemala, which is where many of the young people with children are coming from.”

Why are there any "HAVE NOT" countries?

Why can't these people make their own countries great?

Why is this person, supposedly OUR representative, so eager to give away US goods, services, and eventually voting/citizenship to non-citizens? Hmmmm?

Guatemalans migrate to Mexico where they are beaten, raped, robbed, and kicked back across the border (if not killed outright).

The Congressman seems more interested in dealing with the problems of foreign nations, than dealing with the problems of Americans. One suspects that he did not take his oath of office seriously! If he did not take an oath to adhere to the Constitutional purpose, seriously, he does not belong in public office. Am I right or wrong?

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC VOTINO SCAMS KEEP ON COMING
The FBI is on the tail of NY state Sen. Adriano Espaillat (D-Manhattan), and his penchant for sucking up tax dollars for so-called “needy latino community groups.” Espaillat sucked up 100 “member items” as an assemblyman, including $500,000 public monies for his nonprofit, the grandiously named, “Northern Manhattan Coalition for Economic Development.” (NOTE: “Member items” is a nauseating extortion scam for greedy NY state legislative members).

DOMINICAN ESPILLAT KNOWN AS SENATOR PORK-—FBI agents want to know about Democrat Espillat’s use of public monies for “needy groups” that employed a covey of Dominican Republic natives including Espaillat’s sister-in-law, a Democratic district leader and several campaign consultants.

FBI scrutiny comes as Espaillat’s former chief of staff (elected to the Assembly-—now resigned in disgrace) admits he got wired for the FBI. Nelson Castro, a Dominican Republic native, got wired to save himself-—he lied to the FBI WRT a parade of Dominican Republic illegals corrupting the US election system-—unlawfully registered to vote using Castro’s address. Espillat zipped his lips when asked whether vote-buying Castro assisted in FBI probes of Espaillat.

BTW, Espaillat’s economic development scam closed down in 2011 (member items became extinct-—the needy Dominican Republican commuity has to do without (/snix) ). But Espillat appointed the n/p’s executive director-—Dominican Republic native Nurys de Oleo-—to a $50,000-a-year job as Sen Espaillat’s “special assistant.”

(Sure would like to see de Oleo’s job description up against his actual duties.)

‘Three generations of Adriano Espaillat’s family have lived in the 34th Police Precinct in Washington Heights, a neighborhood where relatives’ businesses have flourished and some still greet the family members by name when they walk down the street.

Mr. Espaillat, who has lived in Washington Heights for 29 years, directs the Victims Services Agency there. He and his parents moved there from the Dominican Republic when he was 10 years old. His grandparents were already living in Washington Heights when he was born.

The problem is that the have countries are being victimized by liberalism, otherwise they would control the illegal invasion from the have nots.

And you know this how? Based upon the track record of ZERO presidents doing it previously?

Not our country.

The president’s job is to keep them out of the US, not fix the country they are coming from.

I compare it to getting bugs coming over from your neighbor’s house - Your neighbor who you help pay his rent.

The message is, clean up the bugs or I’m cutting off the money.

Why can't these people make their own countries great?

Precisely, my good FRiend.

We owe these countries nothing more than to enlighten them on how we did, and do our freedom-based representative form of govt.

And for now...

No hay ayuda para ti!

They need birth control. Copes amounts of it.

Vasectomies for all the males in these countries would be a good start.

If you are a US government official and you are deporting Americans be warned. When the worm turns you will not be safe because you were just following orders. You do not have to take part in illegal acts ordered by this President’s administration. https://t.co/BLq48HRkbH

When Democrats cry ‘Abolish ICE,’, they really mean ‘abolish borders’

American people are coming to realize that a vote for a Democrat, anywhere, is a vote for open borders, globalism and socialism.

Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants

http://www.usillegalaliens.com/impacts_of_illegal_immigration_crime_summary.html

In recent Testimony of District Attorney John M. Morganelli before the House Subcommittee on immigration, Border, Security and Claims he stated:

“Unfortunately, the majority of illegal aliens who are here are engaged in criminal activity. Identity theft, use of fraudulent social security numbers and green cards, tax evasion, driving without licenses represent some of the crimes that are engaged in by the majority of illegal aliens on a daily basis merely to maintain and hide their illegal status.

In addition, violent crime and drug distribution and possession is also prevalent among illegal aliens. Over 25% of today’s federal prison population are illegal aliens. In some areas of the country, 12% of felonies, 25% of burglaries and 34% of thefts are committed by illegal aliens.”

•In Los Angeles, 95% of some 1,500 outstanding warrants for homicides are for illegal aliens. About 67% of the 17,000 outstanding fugitive felony warrants are for illegal aliens.

•There are currently over 400,000 unaccounted for illegal alien criminals with outstanding deportation orders. At least one fourth of these are hard core criminals.

•80,000 to 100,000 illegal aliens who have been convicted of serious crimes are walking the streets. Based on studies they will commit an average of 13 serious crimes per perpetrator.

•Illegal aliens are involved in criminal activities at a rate that is 2-5 times their representative proportion of the population.

•In 1980, our Federal and state facilities held fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens but at the end of 2003, approximately 267,000 illegal aliens were incarcerated in U.S. correctional facilities at a cost of about $6.8 billion per year.
