President Donald Trump signaled optimism for Republicans in the midterm elections on Wednesday, after conducting over 30 campaign rallies across the country since he was elected.
“I think we’re going to do well. … Honestly, it feels very much like it did in ’16,” the president said in an interview with the Associated Press.
He pointed out that some of his supporters were not interested in voting for members of Congress, but urged them to support Republicans.
“I do like Congress because I think, and when I say Congress I like the Republicans that support me in Congress,” he said. “We’ve had tremendous support.”
He said that the fight to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh energized supporters, but acknowledged that the elections were still three weeks away.

All the fake polls said Hillary Clinton would win by a landslide.
Same fake polls are now shouting the Democrats will take the House.
It feels oddly familiar.

The polls are undermined by the hostility so often expressed toward Trump supporters. Prudent Trump supporters are well-justified to refuse to participate or to claim to be undecided when polled. This makes a slice of Trump support hidden from pollsters but ready and even eager to express itself in the secrecy of the ballot box.
Democrats are Dummies.

How could President Trump be winning over blacks and hispanics, the Republicans gaining seats in the Senate, yet be losing the House? It does not compute. The pollsters and the media are hiding bad news for Democrats in the House races IMHO.
I have never turned down a chance to be polled. I always go hardcore patriot, small government. Just to mess with them I claim to be a Democrat and either black, Hispanic, or Asian.
I just tell pollsters who call the truth: “Let me save you some time. You do not want me in your poll sample because I work in GOP politics and campaigns.” They usually thank me for telling them that up front.
I am just as fired up to vote in this election as on the epic Trump election day. I always vote. The horrible mistreatment of Justice K will make even more folks than normal go to the polls. We need to send a rejection letter to all demonrats in the form of an electoral beating. Make DiChiSpi cry again!
I believe Trump will see more Rs in the house, Senate and yes, even in the states.
