Baker’s an acceptable Mass. Republican.

No, he's not.

The base is up in arms with Char-lie.

If he wins in 3 weeks, it will be the 'Rats voting for him.

He has done TOO many RECENT things to piss us off.

Most real republicans I know here will either blank the vote or write-in Scott Lively (even though Scott has asked folks to not do that). Some may vote for the 'Rat, with the notion no improvement comes without hitting rock bottom (presuming we are not there already).

You know what I meant. He’s acceptable to a State whose voters are majority Democrat.

YOU might not vote for him, but he’ll win easily, as expected.

Again, I know nothing about Mass politics, never been there, so I am trying to understand.

If its as you say, just Dems voting for him, and no GOP support, how do you explain him about to win by 40 points or so?

Obviously when getting 60%+ of the vote, you are not simply relying on one party for support, even in Mass.

Mass does have an over 3 to 1 registration advantage for Dems, but it also has more unaffiliated voters than both parties combined.
