I don’t get Harvard. It isn’t what it once was, so why send your kids there? Conservatives should refuse to send their children there and opt for cheaper and better. That is the easiest way to bring Harvard down— when it becomes a leftist university without conservative rhetoric.

To be recruited, Asian guys needed 1380 on the SAT, Asian girls 1350, whites 1310, and blacks and Hispanics 1100. If that's not blatant racial discrimination, what is?

Not often you can support racist behavior, quantitatively. Harvard is also prejudice. I guess Asian Americans all come from affluent families and live in swanky neighborhoods. Oh, they are also good in math.

Harvard was caught and now they are trying to spin it.

University of Georgia is his #1. Best engineering school. Amazing I know, but it is.

I think the North Avenue Trade School in Midtown Atlanta would disagree.

Doctors and Lawyers seem to hold it high regard. Next is Wall Street and then high paying non profits. Throw in expensive business consulting companies like Booze Allen and Mckinsey. Federal government agencies like the State Department like to recruit at Harvard.

I know a very conservative person who is a leadership position with the Republican party. His daughter is attending Harvard. He doesn’t seem to have a problem with Harvard.

“n short, you have NO RIGHT to be treated equally outside of the government. You have no more “right” to be accepted to Harvard than you have the “right” to trespass on someone’s property.”

Well, if you are Hillsdale College, maybe. Because it accepts no federal money and does not let its students get federal financial aid.

But if a school accepts federal money or participates in the student loan business, it has, by contract and statute, subjected itself to non-discrimination laws.

Harvard sucks up that money like a giant vacuum.

I am sure Georgia Tech was meant.

They don’t call MIT the “Georgia Tech of the North” for nothing.

Federal case law has decided that if a university takes federal funds, federal rules about many things apply. Hence Title IX.

I personally am fine with letting private institutions be free to let whoever they want in. But the law currently says otherwise.

Did you know if you make less than $150,000 per year, your kid goes to Harvard free?

Georgia has become among the top engineering schools in the country, after MIT, and Cal Tech. I didn’t realize it until my nephew was applying to engineering schools, and it was one of his top choices. He got into several top 5 schools, but not Georgia. I would have never guessed.

If you’re White or Asian you need to score in the 90th percentile on the SAT to be considered for admission.

If you’re African American, Latino, or Native American, you need to score in the 60th percentile to get the same consideration.

I did not. But if they come out of Harvard as a liberal tool, what is gained?
