Elizabeth Warren is yet again in hot water after new allegations have surfaced that she plagiarized her 'Cherokee' recipes in the book Pow Wow Chow from the New York Times and other publications.
Radio talk show host Howie Carr released damning evidence that appears to confirm that Mrs Warren's weren't handed down from generation to generation, they were picked up in the newspaper.
Mrs Warren has been under scrutiny since she first claimed Native American heritage, arguing that because her great-great-great-grandmother was Cherokee, she is a member of the community.

This is getting better by the minute.
Reviews on Amazon are hilarious!
Lol, thanks.
An actual World War II heroine.
....just another “scammer”, a fake, another Soros puppet
she was awesome- quite a lady- very interesting backstory to her life-
I have legitimate Choctaw roots from two relatives, both grandparents 5 generations removed. Never wrote a cookbook. Don’t remember any family stories, though one of the relatives is historically significant, and I’ve read of him. Never identified as Native American, as I’m obviously white (but wait, I do have high cheek bones!). Any tribulations my ancestors endured, including the Trail of Tears, were not my burden, and I’m certainly not deserving of some victim status for their suffering. Elizabeth Warren is scum for trying to latch on to whatever tiny fraction of Indian blood she may have to advantage herself.
The reviews of the book are hilarious on Amazon - worth an amusing browse !!!
Im just amused that anybody ever fell for crabmeat and tomatoes as some sort of authentic Cherokee fare. Think about it. Cherokee werent coastal even in NC, VA, TN, SC and GA, their range was inland and largely mountainous down into the foothills.
Tomatoes came to Europe by way of the Spanish in South and Central America. There is no evidence that Cherokee ate them prior to the late 1700s, they were widely regarded as poisonous during the colonial era in North America.
Only in Massachusetts would dimbulbs fall for such a ludicrous thing. Why didnt she include a recipe forCheromee crepes for goodness sake, its no less plausible.
Can you please provide the link to it. BTW what is the name of it?
She should be called the Queen of Fake.
I can’t believe this is news now. Howie Carr talked about this years ago and now it’s finally getting out?
She wrote a book called Pow Wow Chow?
And we havent been screaming about that? It appropriates both Native American and Chinese culture.
Pretty bold for a white woman.
One of the reviews on Amazon:
I thoroughly enjoy the recipes here. My favorite one is called “Diversity Dish.” This was contributed by the world’s only confirmed blond-haired, blue-eyed Cherokee who used her tomahawk to dig this up from her Oklahoma archives. You start out with 10 quarts of sanctimony, add in a gallon of hypocrisy, throw in a few fables (I recommend the “Family Lore” brand available in Cambridge), add a pinch of whining (1/32 ounce will work), toss in a paleface poseur and a large measure of insufferability. No integrity required. And there you have it: political career implosion. Great for faculty lounge gatherings and unearned academic advancement.
Thats funny as hell.
L
LMAO! Thanks for grabbing that one. Im sure Amazon will have them all removed by the end of the day.
The original recipe calls for 1 pound of hamburger but 1/64 pound is close enough.
