Hudson Dem chair: ‘system failed’ rape accuser
Amy DeGise, chair of Hudson County’s Democratic Party, issued a statement Monday saying the system “failed” Katie Brennan, the woman who has accused a now-ex state official of raping her last year.
Brennan went public with the accusation in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Sunday. She alleges Albert J. Alvarez raped her after a campaign gathering in Jersey City in July 2017 and that she told Murphy’s camp about it before Alvarez was hired as chief of staff of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority. Alvarez quit on Oct. 2 and has not responded to requests for comment.
This is like a NY crime family coming in to save a NJ crime family. They should make a movie.
