FWIW, Harvard used to (probably still does) apply similar quotas on Jewish people. They got sued and lost, but smart applicants hide their Jewishness on applications. Not sure how Asians would be any different.
Anyway, go to MIT, better school, less politics.
My daughter-in-law graduated from Harvard in 1997. I’ve glanced at her yearbook and I swear she’s probably the only blue eyed blonde. The majority of her classmates were Asian as were her best friends.
I will say she has a negative opinion of the school. She’s often said that if her two sons were accepted she would strongly urge them not to attend.

The reality is, admissions committees are so scared and obsessed that race, gender, religion, heritage, and even politics now enterst their decisions. As close to a predetermined quota as possible.
And that can only mean highly qualified whites, Asians and Jews are systematically denied
