President Trump said he has no intention of shutting down special counsel Robert Muellers investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
60 Minutes host Lesley Stahl asked Trump in an interview that aired Sunday if he would pledge not to shut down probe.
Well, I dont pledge anything, Trump said. But I will tell you, I have no intention of doing that. I think its a very unfair investigation because there was no collusion of any kind.
When pressed on why he wouldn't make a pledge, Trump said he didnt want to.
Why should I pledge to you? If I pledge, I'll pledge. I don't have to pledge to you, the president said.
60 Minutes (@60Minutes) October 14, 2018 Trump repeatedly attacks the probe and calls it a hoax and witch hunt.
60 Minutes noted that as many as 32 people have been charged or pled guilty in the investigation as of Sunday.
The president's personal legal team is reportedly preparing written answers to the questions submitted by Mueller.
The special counsel's office has been locked in a battle with the Trump legal team to have Trump answer Mueller's questions regarding possible collusion and obstruction of justice.

Oh please!
More Bushie Clinton Cabal.
Well, I dont pledge anything,
Classic 45 **
Yeah I saw that as my eyes rolled. So they lump in all the Russian trolls without differentiating anything and lump in. Manafort tax fraud and others thstbhad nothing to do with collusion
Maybe they are counting parking tickets?
they are counting pre campaign violations, like Manafort.
President Trump had nothing to gain from doing this interview. I wish he’d ignore has-been media like 60 minutes and the NYT, but they made a big impression on him growing up, I guess.
"charged OR", not "charged AND."
Letting them make fools of themselves may be reward enough for some folks. I want my wasted tax dollars back.
Whenever spurious allegations such as this are made, the immediate response should be: name them. No way the accuser could.
Lovin' it!
How many of those people have been charged with “collusion” or anything to do with the campaign?
The Epoch Times produced a complete flow-chart graphic outlining everything. You have people like Sean Hannity, who's not a journalist in the traditional sense, doing yeoman's work, grinding, giving everyone the facts on what really happened.
It's a total, utter disgrace. We know Obama spied on Trump because this is the same Obama that unsealed Jack Ryan's divorce records so he could win his Senate seat. And did the same to Rosen of Fox News and the AP.
That includes an Uber driver who picked up a Russian off the street without a call.
Ask for pledge — control/submission ploy.
This is exactly how the Democratic Media Complex operates.
They plant the idea 32 people loosely associated with Trump are somehow 'guilty' of something.
Media people know what they're going. They're schooled in psychological manipulation of the public.
It's a statement that is planted and left unchallenged so in the mind of the public it must be true.
from the headline which I’m not using, to the url, to the zillion interruptions by Stahl, one sentence stands out:
14 Oct: CBS: 60 Minutes Transcript
President Donald Trump: Lesley, it’s okay. In the meantime, I’m president—and you’re not.

It’s a shame Trump’s not as smart as you. Just think what he might accomplish.
Well, we know his traitorous rat bastard of an AG has no intention of shutting down the mueller coup. Maybe his new AG will put a stop to this BS and we can start HANGING people on the national mall.
