Say what you will about Linda Tripp, she opined on this extensively. Exactly. There is a huge problem when people in positions of very high authority take advantage of those under their command. If a Flag Officer, or any Senior Officer is caught having an "unduly familiar relationship" with a Junior Officer or enlisted person under their command, they are immediately fired and forced to retire, if they are lucky. Same goes for a Senior Enlisted screwing a junior enlisted. How many military careers were ended for the same conduct while Clinton was their CinC?
When this happened I was a 30 something year old Navy E-5. I can promise that if I were caught having any kind of sex with a 19 year old E-3, especially in my office, I would have been kicked out of the Navy so fast it would make your head spin.
