The press also took it on the chin with viewers. Once you catch them in a lie, no matter how small, as you watch in the future, you have doubts creep in on every story thereafter.

I used to have a bumper sticker that read:

"I don't believe the liberal media."

This was way before DJT and "fake news"

Everyone on this forum should have one.

Think how galling it’s going to be when (not IF) Chelsea Clinton runs for office. And she’s qualified on exactly what basis?
Like Mooschelle Obama, our only hope might be she’s too lazy and enjoying her unearned lifestyle to actually get out and campaign.

The Turkish government is moving towards an Islamic state. The Westernization of the country started under Ataturk is now being undermined by Erdogan. He is buying Russian military equipment. And lest we forget, it was the Turkish parliament that voted against allowing the 4th ID to transit Turkey during our invasion of Iraq.

Turkey is in NATO, but it isn't acting like an ally. Too bad the coup against Erdogan failed. He is a corrupt dictator.

You know what really pissed me off about George W. Bush?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I used to like “W” .... a LOT. After BJ & the Crooked Hag polluted the WH, W was a welcome contrast for me and I was glad that he and not Algore was President during 911.

HOWEVER .... since he left office, I guess I have beocome, as they say, “woke”. I TOTALLY agree with you on his post-president criticism of Trump and lack of criticism for the Muslim who tried his best to destroy the country. Then there’s all the ‘globalist’ cr@p and his wife/daughters being pro-abortion. As it currently stands, I cannot stand the Bush family and Low Energy Jeb had me feeling positively nauseous at the thought of him being the Repubs presidential nominee plus I was positive he would bend the knee to the Crooked Hag (as Romney did to Obomination) and lose miserably. Thank GOD for Trump - I love that man more every day and I really mean it. I cried (and I wasn’t the only one) when Pastor Brunson, just released from a foreign prison, got on his knees and prayed for Trump - he needs all the prayers he can get.

Exactly, and another thing I’ll vehemently contend:

WE did not reject conservatism and Republicanism—THEY did.

The Bush’s are NOT Republicans. They are elitist snobs more comfortable in a room with other elitist snobs like the Clintons, Obamas, etc.

Both Bush’s, McCain, Romney, and a host of Republican senators, governors and representatives need to be booted out of the party because they have advocated and supported measures, and often led and built them, that are inherently liberal and non-conservative, and worse, destroying all that is good in America.

From their 4 members of the Gang of 8, to the Chamber of Commerces Cheap Labor Express, they have done as much to hurt us as the democrats.

I spit every time I think of them. A pox on them all!

Nasty snobs!!!

Here’s my song to them:

Sulfur being released from the stacks does not have anything to do with acid in the rainwater. I am sure you would be going to more indoctrination conferences now on how damaging Co2 is now since it is the same exact scam.

They are sure they are going to lose seats in the Senate, but people are going to vote for Dems in the House. Twisted logic or what?

Yet over the past two years, has repeated condemned President Trump, the current leader of BUSH’S OWN PARTY, and has nothing to say about the One purple-lipped Muslim who screwed things up so much WE THE PEOPLE needed Donald Trump.

too funny and very sad. Back in the 1999 Primaries everyone on this thread was touting the greatness of Bush II - because he got along with the Texas Democrats while he was Governor.

I would say that the 80 / 20 % rule applies. 80% of the people, including here on this site, are incapable of thinking.

Spouting the latest talking points is not thinking

As an example I would ascertain - Trump is NOT publishing the FBI / DOJ paperwork that the House has requested. Trump is waiting to see how the Fall elections go.

Should the Dems. take control of the House, Trump will order the release in time for the 2020 election cycle.

If the Republicans hold the House, Trump will let the documents come out through the various House / Senate comitees

You are exposing your narrow-mindedness. I can’t think of a politer way to express it.

Not gonna spend all day arguing about it. I can only tell what I know from personal and long-term professional experience.

Take it or leave it. I don’t care.

All of your hurdles are roadblocks from the left. Fearmongering works extremely well especially if you start it with the words Science says...

Looking at Turkey through a historical perspective, Turkey aside from Kamal Attaturk, has been a WORLD power that was seriously marginalized in the late 1800's and has basically been a 3r world country since.

After WWII Turkey was used by the WEST as a bulwark against the U.S.S.R. With Erdogan seeing himself as the NEW Ottoman Emperor leading the NEW Islamic world things have changed.

Will the WEST address this new situation???

Narrow mindedness, is that like a climate denier? Guess it is against the law to question science once it has been settled. You were fooled and still are.

Give me one piece of evidence acid rain existed. I did years of research while this scam was being foisted and enjoyed it when it was proven to be a fraud, put on by Al Gore by the way who made millions with Enron. Give me one piece of evidence.

History does not change, 80/20 rule applies. The Propaganda machines have been successful in brainwashing people.

sulfur released from Power plants turns to Sulfuric Acid then it rains. CO2 is that we breath out

Breathing (or respiration, or ventilation) is the process of moving air into and out of the lungs to facilitate gas exchange with the internal environment, mostly by bringing in oxygen and flushing out carbon dioxide.

CO2 is what sustains plant life and is very good for the planet. Al Gore convinced the libs it was bad and now we have paid trillions to eliminate it from our energy systems even though it is a beneficial compound.

BTW, the sulfuric acid drops out of the air very quickly and is absorbed into the ground. It never did get into the rain. Those scientific studies were fake.

The real biggest hazard from power plants was and is radioactive waste from burning.

Very twisted. Too many retiring Rs to defend, they insist, but both candidates are rookies, so the incumbency advantage does not automatically swing to the dems. It generally remains with the Rs in this Kavanaugh/MS-13-border/economy environment. .. and if all works well, a bunch of GOPe's will be gone ! A double bonus.

Am I asking for too much ?

Conventional wisdom projects 'divided' govenment, and President's party losing in midterm, but conventional wisdom DNA with DJT
