HELENA, Mont. — U.S. Sen. Jon Tester went on the attack Saturday against Republican candidate Matt Rosendale as the Montana Democrat fights to keep his seat in a tightening Senate race.
Tester is one of 10 Senate Democrats seeking re-election in states won by President Donald Trump in 2016. He got personal during Saturday's debate in Bozeman by contrasting his own Montana roots with Rosendale: "Somebody who was born in Maryland, made millions of dollars developing property, bought a ranch in Montana, claims to be a rancher but has no cows," Tester said.
Rosendale, the state auditor and insurance commissioner whose campaign has gotten a boost from repeated visits from Trump, responded by accusing the incumbent of selling out Montana for the interests of Senate Democratic leaders.
"This is what happens when you spend too much time in the federal government," Rosendale said. "He's been there for 12 years, and he thinks that he can determine what is best for you and what is best for your family. And I don't think so."

24 points? that fat a$$ has never received more then 50% of the vote. He got lucky running against the old dude back in ‘06.
If anything its a 3 point Tester lead and Trump will correct that. Its now within margin of error and for an incumbent Tester is in deep waist high crap.
I doubt that having cattle matters to that many people as much as closing the border, getting rid of Obamacare and tax cuts. I know those would be my priorities.
Except for races that are in Dem controlled states, how are any of these races even a contest?
Are Billings, Bozeman, and Kalispel so filled up with West Coast liberals that think it’s cool to live in the mountains, that Tester is a factor? This should be a blowout by Rosendale.
But, I guess liberals moving someplace and destroying it is their modus operandi. They’ve done it to cities all over the country. They’re like the aliens in Independence Day.
I would be more inclined to believe the other polls showing Tester around 4 points ahead than 24. I think that one is the result of some statistics major's class project and I think that he/she should get an F.

Did you see the date of that +24 poll? Aug 13 to 31. Not sure why they have Oct 8th there, unless the University of Montana was on sabbatical then?
Since then about 5 points (in the polls below it), and pretty much still no polling since the Kavanaugh sell-out.
Skewed demographics that do not reflect a state’s, city’s or locality’s real voter composition are basically invalid.
Tester really must lose. Come on people of Montana. Please vote him out of office.

I would think Republicans and libertarians/independents would out number Dems in Montana.
I read that Tester may be the target of the next Project Veritas undercover video. If so, the weasel may be in bigger trouble than he knows.
They do but the sample they used does not reflect the real world.
