“Medicare for All” IS NOT MEDICARE.
If they’ll lie with the name, what other lies are they telling? (that’s how I’d start a conversation with a supporter)
What they don’t tell you is Medicare doesn’t cover everything for seniors.
Let’s take as an example, nursing home care. Medicare covers only 100 days skilled care. You’re SOL unless you have private gap insurance or you can cover it out of your pocket.
That gets exhausted quickly. Mosf people have Medicaid to cover the costs involved and Medicaid coverage is indefinite.
