I agree. After Jeff Sessions' quick recusal, Trump decided to go to work on his agenda. I think he put the DOJ and Jeff Sessions problems on the back burner, while he racked up his many successes, and while he built his political capital.
I'm hoping that after the mid terms the gloves are off. Hopefully he's been setting the stage for draining the swamp and November 9 will see him pulling the plug.
Trump did say that at some point he would have to get involved. Right after the mid terms, I think is that point.
Sessions and Rosenweasel will be jettisoned.

That said, it makes me increasingly worried when I see Rosenstein hanging around, the FISA docs put on the back burner, House investigations being hampered, Wray equivocating on things, etc.
Lots to be concerned about. Many thought Rosenstein would be gone right after Kavanaugh’s confirmation and that at least some of the FISA docs would be released. But nothing is happening. Even Sara Carter and John Soloman seem to be getting anxious.
Perhaps its all in the timing.

Perhaps, but I get the sense that Trump only cares about being freed from collusion charges. He repeatedly says that and it gives the impression that the FISA docs and RR are just background noise to him. Hope I’m wrong about that.

Why has nobody ever asked when Rosenstein called the retired 72 year old Mueller when Rosenstein asked him and when he agreed to come out of retirement at age 72 to take over the investigation from the crooked McCabe. Was it after sessions Rosenstein Mueller and trump? Cuz Mueller was hired less than 12 hrs after that 4 hour meeting they had privately. Was it after trump says he would confuse people and lengthen the Russian investigation 3 days after he fired Comey... things that make you go hmmm if your a idiot and have no faith in our president... I personally dont think trump is a idiot but most of you people who rant on about sessions and Rosenstein think trump a moron... I have faith in my president

As I pointed out to you on the last thread, it doesn't logically follow that a person thinks that Trump is a moron, just because they think that Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein and Bob Mueller are not going after the Deep State.
I have no idea. The only thing we can do is trust the President has a reason.
If Sessions had any honor at all he would have tendered his resignation when he recused himself.
