Military Grounds Entire Fleet Of F-35 Stealth Fighter Jets

The United States military announced that they are grounding their entire fleet of F-35 stealth fighter jets. The drastic decision comes just two weeks after one of the jets crashed during a training mission in South Carolina.

The Pentagon said that all 280 F-35's currently in service will be checked for faulty fuel tubes before they will be able to fly again. Currently, only half of those aircraft are capable of flying.

"The U.S. services and international partners have temporarily suspended F-35 flight operations while the enterprise conducts a fleet-wide inspection of a fuel tube within the engine on all F-35 aircraft," said Joe DellaVedova, spokesman for the F-35 Joint Program Office.

Officials said that if a jet does not have the faulty fuel tube, it will immediately be cleared to fly, while any F-35 with the fuel tubes will need to have them replaced. They expect the inspections to be done within two days.

I work in Aviation, have since 1980. We have a saying, if humans are involved in the process of manufacture, it will have a catastrophic failure eventually. Bad engineering is the most likely culprit. No fuel = no thrust = flying brick.

BFD. The great B-24 of WW II was named almost unflyable when it was first produced in 1938. By 1945 they were producing a much better one every 58 minutes at Willow Run.

.
The new eastern span of the Bay Bridge is “made in China,” and it is falling apart daily.

About half of the J-bolts that anchor the tower to its foundation have snapped.

I haven’t driven over it, and do not plan to.

You’re exactly correct, we don’t need to know this, no one outside of a select few do.

Time to build the 'klingon computer chip'. In the 1980's (I believe it was then), the DoD created a complete dictionary of the Klingon language (INTEL tool).

The F22 is now 'obsolete' because the computer chips used in the 1990's are no longer available.

With 'Klingon chip' (for DoD use), then a FASTER next generation could be built for successive generations of military hardware but be able to be 'back fitted' into previous generations of hardware as spare parts. This would have prevented the F22 disaster of not being able to supply spare parts for this platform.

Red Chinese parts and circuits.

I don't know how you get to that conclusion. More likely that they used some "green" material because of some environmental law and have just discovered that the material decomposes and blocks the fuel intake causing a stall. I have no knowledge of this, but I'll put that out there as my theory and wait to see if I got it right.

Remember, one of the space shuttles exploded because the "green" insulation that NASA installed fell off during launch. That stuff is no good for things that matter.
