I would still hope that the Republicans in CA vote to keep her in the Senate, because DeLeon is much younger and even more radical. Just hope somehow Cox becomes governor and gets to appoint Fineswine’s successor when she dies ( which hopefully, will be soon).

Disagree. Feinstein should face consequences for her actions. Any Rep voting for her should have his head examined. The 85 year old Feinstein is just a figurehead. Her staff runs things and tells her what to do.

Feinstein will be the last non-Hispanic white to hold a senate seat in CA. What difference does it make if we get a radical, younger Dem in the seat? The votes in the Senate won't change. DeLeon will just be a junior member without the seniority of Feinstein. And it is far better to have DeLeon and Harris be the face of the Dem party. The more radical the better. People will then have a more defined choice. Do you want to vote for sanity or a bomb-throwing radical?
